if you've been IR for over a month with no change or DF, at what point is it wise to send an LOCI? i am ADMIT under LSP, slightly below median GPA, comfortably above 75th LSAT....i really want them. i favored them over UCLA given the price of UCLA and what i thought of the school. since getting rejected from UCLA, I now kind of need them cause I really want LA if I don't score a t-10. i also don't want to be annoying, and know i have a complex app - risky topic for a PS + personal stuff i had to disclose etc. so i understand why it would take a while especially when my numbers are not both over median.

There's no need for an LOCI at this point. A "why usc" might have been wise, I might suggest giving them a call and see if it's ok for you to send it in. IR over a month is not much of a deal, we've all had to wait months for some of our responses man. If you care to disclose your stats we may be able to help you a little bit more

Complete. I submitted two weeks ago, but I had to send a dean's certificate for an alcohol violation.

edit: Update for you guys. My app changed from complete to in review over night.

I'm really hoping for a "decision rendered" this week! My last update was Under Review 12/8. If anyone would have told me it'd be February and I still wouldn't know my decision from USC, I would've thought they were crazy lol

I'm UR 12/12, 1/2, 1/28 --> UR is not all that it is cracked up to be especially when it means a potentional 2 month MORE wait.

fwiw, some people go complete => DF but going UR fast after complete seems to be purely #s/median based

Yeah, you're definitely not alone there. There was some speculation that USC is so lax with status checker updates and that there may be little difference between "complete" and "UR" for them. Not sure, but take it for what it's worth.

Updated today. Went from IR 1/18 -> 1/31. (Not sure when I went complete because they didn't send my status checker to me until I was IR already - technical snafu). Applied 1/11 though.

looking at LSN, there was a lot of action the first two weeks of Feb. Hopefully we should start seeing some major movement today or tmw

I'm still complete too, but only since 1/7. Still, since my numbers are well above both 75th percentiles, you'd think I'd either be an auto-admit or an auto yield-protect? Or at least worth reviewing!
