Hmm...given that HLS closes on Dec 21st for the Holidays, next week is the last week for JR1s before the January dings start coming in...which means they'll get scheduled either this week or the beginning of next week...so for a lot of us (Sep/Oct/early Nov apps), I imagine we only have to suffer the wait for a JR1 for another 5-6 days, and then we know the answer!

Any thoughts?

Most likely, except for people like myself that wilfully prolonged the torture by specifically asking a delayed decision (after December 2010 LSAT scores). I do not know whether they will ACTUALLY do what they say they would do or just ding me along with everyone else (not saying the first case will not result in a ding anyway). We will see, I guess, but yeah, if what you have is your October or earlier LSAT scores and you do not get a JR1 by next week Friday you are probably either in WL or dinged.

I submitted my app just before thanksgiving, and my status has been "Application received" for 2 weeks now. Is this normal? When should I be going under review? Should I be worried? Judging by many of the posts here it would seem that people who get in tend to hear back pretty soon.

No I wouldn't worry. It took about 2 weeks for me to go under review, maybe a little more, and for some it takes longer.

I don't think any of the late Nov. UR people or many have gotten JR1s yet
been about two weeks
For me and I've been monitoring TLS and as far as I can see no one in late nov has gotten a JR1 yet so im not freaked out yet

Nov 22 UR. No JR1. However, I'm not very confident I will ever get one, so I'm probably not the best to judge off of.

Same for me, submitted 11/22, UR 12/3...no JR1

i don't think any have gone out this week, correct?

I don't think any have gone out though there was some claims earlier in the week. In any case, I am guessing they are working hard to get things done before the break. Maybe they are hoping to get through as much as possible in the next couple of days and then send out a bunch of JR1 emails for next week?

Those are pretty solid numbers, pdiddy. I wouldn't count yourself out!

Also -- I'm UR 11/30. I hope the next batch of JR1's come out next week (or earlier.)

so im a loser and stalked last year's thread -

it looks like after the 2nd round of JR2's last year, there were JR1 invites sent out Friday, Monday, and the subsequent Monday. So maybe our last chances for JR1 invites before the new year this time around will be the 10th, the 13th, and the 20th?

keep in mind i could be completely wrong haha

I don't think there's been a whole lot of activity of the past few days. Really hoping for that JR1 email today, though...

No 170's has been touched yet. I know they must be a few. There were a handful last year. When do you think they will look at sub 25 LSAT reverse splitters?

It seems to me like they need to balance things out pretty soon...take in some lower number, high softs people. Their average is a 171 and so far most people have been high 170s that have gotten JR1s or JR2s. So, I would think it would balance out some time soon. Hopefully today!

While I am skeptical of your optimism, I do like your thinking, however misguided it may be.

Well, looking at LSN, 25% of people are DEFINITELY not over 3.97. . . . so they need to give some love to us high GPA, lower LSAT people!!!!
