I've tempered myself to avoid freakouts from all the 5:00PM random-law-school-wants-me-to-apply emails. I'm looking at you Akron....



Hilarious. I am totally on board with this one. I would imagine we all are. Anytime I see an email that starts with "admissions" I just about have a heart attack.

Ya I know what is with that school? I bet you it somehow highjacked our columbia emails are replaced them instead with "Potential Scholarship Offer from Arkon Law!!!" emails

Just got an email for Fall Grades. ED applicant.

I'm willing to bet anything your heart skipped a beat when you saw "Columbia" in your inbox.

Well, same thing happened to me, ED applicant. My heart almost exploded.

I have a downward grade trend from personal stuff Junior yr, so this Grade request definitely makes sense compared to the previous ones. Aiming for the 4.0 this semester. 1/3 classes have an A secured so far.

I have a huge upward grade trend after freshman year, and I'm just a sliver below median. So I guess they just don't want to see their median drop if they do admit me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have 9 credits (My other three right now are part of a year long honors thesis, so no grade this semester) of A's, which should push me to right over median.

I'll be doing a little research into past threads to see what the turnaround time and everything is for EDers with fall requests.

Thanks! and good luck to you too! And I sure hope so. I know I just submitted in November but I feel like the wait until my school clears falls grades and when CLS receives them (which'll most likely be after new year's), I may not find out until the beginning of next semester even
Then again, if I end up not getting in, my 2nd choice is Chicago, and I'd DEFINITELY have to wait until February for that.

I HATE these emails. Every time I get one on my phone I see "law" and my heart skips a beat. Then I see it's fucking akron or drexel or some other TTT and get pissed. This stressed-pissed-stressed-pissed cycle is driving me to the bottle.
