My fascination resides somewhere at the intersection of technological innovation (aerospace, weapons systems, flight dynamics, etc.) and the legal realm. What are your thoughts? Do you recommend attending t14 without the engineering degree (financial limitations)?
Thank you for your advice and consideration.
I am assuming you're an undergrad engineering major, yes? Have you passed the patent bar? Realize that not many employers that come to UF's OCI have strong IP/patent departments. I don't know a lot about patent law, however, there are people here that can give you some advice regarding the process. I would recommend starting a thread stating your goals, acceptances, etc. There are a LOT of engineers on these boards, many of whom chose T14 schools over regional schools with scholarships because of the increased opportunities a degree from one of those schools (especially with an engineering background) provides. If anything,
Desert Fox and
Raynier are two frequent posters with engineering backgrounds that can probably answer your questions a lot more comprehensively than I can, as I have no background in engineering or the IP hiring process.
