Congratulations!!! That's so cool - are you in state or out of state?

I went complete on 11/17 as well ~ here's hoping for a decision sooner rather than later...

Have any waitlisted applicants been denoted as priority waitlist? Is the dual-waitlist happening again this year?

can anyone clarify the circumstances surrounding $$$ with acceptance? i was told by those in the adm. office that $$$ will be offered only after submission of fafsas, after they have a better picture of the incoming class, etc...

is this lip-service b/c my #'s aren't good enough or my app isn't compelling enough? (3.7+, 175+, for reference).

i received money with my acceptance, but it said that i am required to keep a 3.85 GPA. so far, i don't think anyone below that GPA has received money, so maybe its a cut-off. also, the money received with acceptances are "named" scholarships, i believe, and regular merit aid comes in the spring. at least, as far as i can tell. someone with more knowledge, feel free to correct me.

This is correct, though i can't verify the first part. Anyone who has gotten $$ already got one of the "named" scholarships. Merit money for everyone else comes in late March, supposedly.

also, i'm no longer in school, so there's no gpa to maintain. probably that has nothing to do with it though.

I’ve been at “File Complete, Pending Review/Decision” since 11/13. This morning it changed to 12/18 but is still listed as “File Complete, Pending Review/Decision.”

Does this mean anything?

Are you at "File Complete. Pending Review/Decision" or "Pending Decision?" If it's the former, I've had that status since 10/12.

I've been telling people this... last year I went complete and pending review on 11/10, I never heard anything from the school until I got news of my acceptance on 1/29.

UVA...I have managed to stay away from this thread for a while, but I just want to say: there is a nice little gap on LSN where my numbers would fit perfectly. Just sayin...
