I was Pending since November, and this morning it changed to Review Complete, so I don't think everyone has to wait til March to hear if you're Pending.

Ooohhhhhh Alice, you are killing me haha. I've been pending since 10/27. It was nice not having to worry about constantly checking that status checker. I was looking forward to checking it in March . Now I will be checking it often since people are being taken off pending haha.

I don't know if that's made any difference.....and my W&M page doesn't show that anything has been mailed, so I don't know what that means.

I am in the same boat. Knowing what I know (or pretend to know) about W&M's cycle and from hounding these forums, I should be expecting good news, but nothing changed in the mailings.

Does that mean that a decision is in the mail or is it just some cryptic way of being waitlisted or "in review"? Thanks!

It means you'll get a decision in March. Everyone who gets a decision before then is accepted, the March decisions are about 5-10% acceptances (is that what the consensus is?).

Where did you get 5-10% from?

Can anyone back this up?

Also a few pages back, somebody said they talked to an admissions person who said that 50% of March decisions are acceptances. I imagine that these are the more borderline candidates. Right now, it seems that those who are getting in are people who are receiving scholarships. Those who will be paying sticker will get in later.

How do you know they are in? Also, I have "Review Complete" and no blank line in the mailing list, does that mean the same thing?

Tried via email to negotiate my fellowship offer up, the Dean was really nice, but said as of now no. However, if you have an offer from W&L or something like that...it might be a different story.
