Day 10 and still waiting

It is! Thank goodness I'm West Coast so I can actually stay up for this haha

What do you mean by stay up? Are you guaranteed a decision within 10 days?

Yeah I applied priority track, which guarantees some sort of decision in 10 days. I went complete on the 13th, so today's the day.

Today was the end of drop add and grades came out. I might say you have to wait till tomorrow because the law school was very busy today.

Can you submit a "Why Duke" essay via e-mail after your application has already been submitted? I didn't realize how crucial that essay seems to be until after I already submitted and now I'm kind of freaking out...

Got in yesterday, 1/22, and was sent an email late at night. I was PT and my application went complete 1/12!

Yeah my PT day 10 landed on Thanksgiving and I ended up getting accepted on Day 11 so I wouldn't fret too much if it's off by 1-2 days since it's not always a bad sign!

Does anyone know the percentage of Mordecai recipients from those offered interviews? According to Duke's website they seem to have a class of 5-8 every year but I'm not sure how many get interview requests...

That's good to know, thanks! I just don't think it was the holiday, because all of last week's PT decisions came on time despite being after MLK Day. I know there was a lot going on at the law school yesterday with classes and grades, but I don't see how that would affect admissions.

I'm picturing Dean Hoye waking up this morning, realizing he forgot to do PT apps yesterday, and going "dangit now we have to let them in" even though I know it's not the case haha. Congrats!

Gosh, my application (complete six weeks ago in early December) didn't even go UR until yesterday. I may very well never hear from them it seems...

I submitted my ED app on the 9th (deadline for round 2) and mine still says under review.

Reached out to admissions to ask about a timeline for non-pt RD applicants - was told folks who submitted around my time (late September/early October) should almost all hear back by mid February... no gurantees obviously
