Thanks! I went complete around the same time, maybe a little later. I live in the DC area too so I figure it'll be pretty easy to arrange.schocolate wrote:I went complete late November (I think) and just got an interview request today. My eyes are probably playing tricks with me but I feel that my mailings box just got a bit bigger too. For those accepted after this, just about how big was your box?

Interview pending here. I have no idea what size my mailings box was before but it currently looks like it could fit about three lines of text. It's slightly bigger than the empty requirements list box.frodo wrote:can someone who hasn't interviewed please check and see how big their mailings section is and end this once and for all lol

Didn't interview, but accepted, don't think my box is any bigger. On my phone currently, but will report back in the morning when I'm at my laptop.frodo wrote:can someone who hasn't interviewed please check and see how big their mailings section is and end this once and for all lol

have any ED folks noticed whether or not they're sticking to the 3 week timeline?

So my 'current status date' box has no date. Sent my app 11/20 and it says app complete... should I be concerned? Does it just take a couple weeks to get a date?

Sometimes, the schools don't use the status checker as effectively as others. Calm down. It's okay. I was admitted recently and mine still says complete with no date, no decision, and no decision date.Afterthought wrote:So my 'current status date' box has no date. Anyone know the probability of getting accepted after having your decision postponed (by email)? I've been going through previous year's threads and can't seem to find any info. Should I submit a LOCI? It's not technically a waitlist so I don't want to overdo it.

Thank you, that's good to know. Sigh I really should just stop looking at status checkers/refreshing emails daily altogether. So bad for stress... Just so hard not to look ughlymenheimer wrote:Sometimes, the schools don't use the status checker as effectively as others. Calm down. It's okay. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
For some schools that submit information strictly through status checker, it's beneficial. I found out about UVA through a random look at my status checker, didn't get an email, and I would not have been checking my snail mail regularly otherwise. But it's easier to just assume they won't use it much and then be pleasantly surprised if they do. Either way, you should get email/phone call/snail mail decision. Status checker only helps you figure out when to expect it (even then it sucks).Afterthought wrote:Thank you, that's good to know. Whaat, that's so long. For my interview they specified we'd hear back in 2 weeks, did they do that for you?clare1819 wrote:My interview was in mid October so two monthsabc__ wrote:When was your group interview?
