You'd have to compare to past accepted students spreadsheetsWahrheit wrote:According to the spreadsheet, GPA numbers are a bit lower than their usual medians. We only have a partial data set, but this appears to be good news for those of you with higher GPAs.

If you look at the stats tab everyone's LSAT is either 180 or like a 169 or something. Pretty safe to assume that's not right.Mack.Hambleton wrote:why is the median lsat from last year a 180 hmWahrheit wrote:2017: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=3Mack.Hambleton wrote:You'd have to compare to past accepted students spreadsheetsWahrheit wrote:According to the spreadsheet, GPA numbers are a bit lower than their usual medians. I was going to say that a troll probably went back and changed like half of them but there are like 4 Rubies in there, so maybe last year's class was just killerMack.Hambleton wrote:why is the median lsat from last year a 180 hmWahrheit wrote:2017: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=3Mack.Hambleton wrote:You'd have to compare to past accepted students spreadsheetsWahrheit wrote:According to the spreadsheet, GPA numbers are a bit lower than their usual medians. Yeah the December 20th revision looks like it's closest to what the real thing was. Someone turned on a filter or something in the interim. Median there is a 172.

Right now on LSN there are 117 acceptances, median lsat: 171, median gpa: 3.87Wahrheit wrote:According to the spreadsheet, GPA numbers are a bit lower than their usual medians. We only have a partial data set, but this appears to be good news for those of you with higher GPAs.
24 rejections, median lsat: 167, median gpa: 3.658
and 52 waitlists, median lsat: 170, median gpa: 3.625
make of that what you will
there are also 157 pending, median lsat: 169, median gpa: 3.75
excluding urm:
accepted 97, median lsat: 172, median gpa: 3.89
rejected 20, median lsat: 167, median gpa: 3.71
waitlist 43, median lsat: 171, median gpa: 3.63
without urm it looks like they're trying to up their lsat to me

Hey, newest wave of admits - we've noticed we haven't really seen many of you in the c/o 2018 thread? Please come talk to us! We are full of fun chatter (debates on dogs, food, etc.) and we are aiming to keep our page count higher than the Georgetown admits, so we need new people to come and talk to us sad sacks.

But any incoming class is obviously going to include URMs? Also you have to figure that a good chunk of those 174+ applicants they've admitted are going to opt for HYS.Indy16 wrote:Right now on LSN there are 117 acceptances, median lsat: 171, median gpa: 3.87Wahrheit wrote:According to the spreadsheet, GPA numbers are a bit lower than their usual medians. What seems to be the average time between having your interview and hearing a final decision?

Sorry for being a noob, but how good of a sign is getting an interview? In the past, roughly what percentage of interviewed students were then admitted? Thanks!

Too lazy to go find the original quote, but a few pages back someone did a LSN analysis and estimated that about 2/3rds of interviewees got offers. So I'd say it's definitely not a bad sign!jaywil08 wrote:Sorry for being a noob, but how good of a sign is getting an interview? Did anyone who was passed over during the last interview wave had a status change since?

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
Hi peeps!
Just checking in and thought I'd take the opportunity to ask...
I was wait listed at chicago last week and was wondering: should I be sending my fafsa / need access forms to chicago anyway just in case? This question goes for all the law schools I've applied to but haven't heard back from as well - do we wait until after admission to do fin aid stuff, or should we be including all schools from the beginning? Let me know what you did, or at least point me to a fin aid forum? I've looked for forever but couldn't find one

I think you should go ahead and send NeedAccess/FAFSA to Chicago. I went ahead and sent to a couple of schools I hadn't been accepted to yet. You never know when you'll get accepted and if the school doesn't need your info, they'll just set it aside.rararara111 wrote:Hi peeps!

I'm having trouble finding the interview thread (for things I should expect to see on the Skype interview). Can anyone help direct me to it?
Thanks so much!

There's a pretty good list on page 2 and throughout the thread.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
