Xylo with your numbers I'm shocked NYU didn't jump to offer you. well it might have something to do with the fact that I made a typo in my personal statement. instead of "NYU" I accidentally wrote a lengthy string of curse words followed by a photo of a swastika. idk though??radio1nowhere wrote:Xylo with your numbers I'm shocked NYU didn't jump to offer you. That can't be it! Law schools are suckers for that kind of reverse psychology schtick, which is why I wrote a "Why Columbia" essay for NYU. Got in a month later. Tickle, coffee is no joking matter. Columbian coffee is far superior to Ethiopian, Peruvian, or even Brazilian coffee. It's smooth without being dull, delicate while retaining its boldness, and extraordinarily well-balanced. The geography of Columbia provides the perfect enviroment for coffea arabica, and only the physical difficulty of harvesting and transporting coffee beans in such rugged conditions keeps Columbia from passing Brazil in yearly coffee exports. Let me ask you the same question that NYU asked me: If you can't even take your coffee seriously, why should we believe you'll take the law seriously?ticklemesilly wrote:radio1nowhere wrote:That can't be it! Same here - UR2 today after submitting early Jan, so there's some movement out there. Not that that information actually helps anyone . . . I'm just posting this to ensure everyone stays on edge and fully neurotic about reloading the status checker.yot11 wrote:UR2 (?) today! First movement since UR1 (?) 10/15 O.o

I can't tell if you are being serious since I know some people choose to write humorous essays. I'm really bad at telling on the internet.radio1nowhere wrote:Tickle, coffee is no joking matter. So I thought I had been waitlisted, but re-reading it I realized that I have been moved from the ED pool to the regular decision applicants pool. Does anyone have any information on this? Would you recommend writing a LOCI?Dipper wrote:Were you waitlisted? I don't believe there is one for this cycle yet.spring9988 wrote:Does anyone happen to know if there is an open thread for waitlists at NYU?
Thanks!!
