Cornell's status checker isn't working...(It's sad that I know this, considering it's a Sunday lmao)

I know this because my phone dinged because I am subscribed to this thread, and then went to confirm it and see if it was an LSAC issue by checking another school

I just want decisions - great, good or bad ...

ETA: Skimming through parts of this thread, I see that most people (all?) get to UR4 before an interview request/decision..is that the case for all applicants? I feel like this late in the cycle, they might have less date changes?
Just saw my UR2 this morning and came in here to ask the exact same thing, so thanks!

Got my financial aid package. Not as big as I hoped, but then my expectations may be unreasonable. PM me for details if interested.

For those of you who completed the video interview, about how long after submitting it did you receive a decision? Sent mine Wednesday night.

I got mine the next day, but most have taken at least a few days, and some closer to two weeks. Definitely varies.

Did either of you get a confirmation from them saying that the interview was received? I just signed up on LikeLive and did it, without informing them I was choosing that option. Do I need to email them to let them know?

So how long did it take for Cornell to make an initial scholarship offer after you send your financial aid info sheet? It's a month away since I sent it and no response at all... Do they just bury my file silently if they want to offer nothing?

Yeah it probably shouldn't take that long. I would call the financial aid office and ask.

Sorry, I'm sure this has been reiterated in the thread but I can't find it.

Is the interview something everyone goes through prior to being admitted, or is it only a selected few?
Has anyone been rejected after the interview?

Not everyone gets interviewed before being admitted. I think there has been one case of someone getting rejected after the interview ITT, and a handful of others who were placed on reserve.

well the cornell dream is dead after revival attempts.

my numbers are 3.6-7/172, they offered me 45k. showed them offers of 120k and 90k from mich and uva respectively, and they declined to increase my offer. my plea wasn't persuasive maybe?

will be withdrawing, good luck everyone

Very similar experience for me, numbers and everything, although my initial offer was a bit higher

Probably gonna withdraw in the near future as well

Or maybe they didn't think they could offer you enough to pull you away? At any rate, you have great options!

I was writing the email and got an email from them... telling me that they didn't receive my financial info sheet, whose reception was once confirmed by their staff, and asking whether I need to... And I forwarded the email I sent to them 35 days ago...

Kind of feeling bad about it. Because of their mistake, I am putting deposit to schools more than I planned and probably gonna waste it.
