This uppercase to lowercase e-mail business is probably the worst thing to happen to my zen in a while. I was so content to just never check a Status Checker compulsively ever again...

use that lsstatuschecker app... that is how I found out and optimistically believed it only meant that they were looking at my app, not that I had gotten in!

I checked the .pdf copy of the app I submitted...I realized I entered my email address lower case from the start. Bleh.

My roommate acted like that - never took tests, crawled in and out of windows, avoided campus authorities - but turns out he really was a student...just a failure.

Anyone have tips on how to maximize financial aid if you know you wont get much from FAFSA. I.e. leverage/private scholarships/Stanford grants?

For any prospectives considering visiting Stanford, admissions got back to me, and you can sit-in on a class during your visit.

App was incomplete because of an abroad transcript I needed to have sent over. Ordered it to be sent to them via email as they requested, and when I was still incomplete 10 days later I followed up via email to see if it had arrived...radio silence.

Is it rude to call and see what's going on?

The lack of communication is distressing.

Somewhat similar boat. Although mine says complete.

I emailed them as well as my study abroad coordinator (w/ my transcript) and no response. Not sure what to do..

Anyone else have an issue where their login for the status check doesn't work anymore and if you try use the "forgot your password?" function it says your login doesn't exist?
This can't be a good sign. Application was sent to be reviewed on 12/14

Are you actually telling me that a change from uppercase to lowercase on your e-mail indicates admit or not? Explain this to me.

What if, when they get ready to start dinging people, they also change e-mail addresses before adding DLS? That would be a sad day.
