Just wondering if dings are notified via e-mail or snail mail?

In via snail mail! Very excited, expecting a Vandy notification and instead surprised by an envelope from Georgetown! Enjoyed the personalized note at the end of my acceptance letter as well, nice touch!

I did GULC's group video interview on Tues. The dress code was business casual. Most of guys showed up with dress shirt or suit with no tie. The ladies had more choices, but quite a few also wore suit. It wasn't THAT informal.
I am a woman so that was another reason I was curious, as I think there's probably more options and flexibility for what is acceptable business casual.
I had an alumni interview with a 9th circuit Judge. So my attire was very business formal. I do agree that it's better to dress up than dress down.

Thank you!!!
I had my third update(no interview for me) on 12/10 and still haven't received any ding/WL/hold e-mail.

Can I take this as a good sign??

I am really hoping for some Gtown love....

lol I'm the opposite! I gave my partner permission to open any letters from law schools and installed status checker on my parents' computers so if anyone hears anything before I do ... they know what to do! (surprise me with something awesome yay ... or hug me to cushion the blow)

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and recently applied to Georgetown Law Center under Early Decision. I have an alumni interview on Tuesday and was wondering if someone could share their experience and how one might go about preparing.

I think that most of the alumni interviews have been fairly friendly and informal - sometimes they do little more than talk to you about how great Georgetown is. You should definitely have a few reasons why you want to go to Georgetown memorized, and try to tie it into your experience and previous accomplishments.

They may ask you questions about your resume, but I don't think that most have gone into that level of specificity. If you can be ready with an elevator pitch of the points that you would like to highlight, you can control the direction of the conversation. Try to be responsive to how much your interviewer wants to talk and what they are interested in. Look for commonalities.

Don't stress out. This isn't a job interview where the person has to pick one out of a hundred candidates and then work with you for the next five years. They are nice people who would like to have a friendly conversation and come away feeling good about you.

Admitted back in September -- withdrew today. Hopefully this will open the door for someone. Good luck to all!

Accepted via snail mail yesterday, although I just looked in my mailbox a few hours ago. RD, 173, 3.44. Handwritten note was a nice touch!

Today is three weeks since my application went complete. Still waiting on that third update! Needless to say, I will likely not get much done today other than obsessively checking and reading into the smallest of possible indicators.
