11/22 er checking in, I had no idea that so much blood was shed yesterday from Berkeley. Glad I waited till late last night to check this forum. I saved myself from a lot of anxiety yesterday. Got my fingers crossed now.

I went under review 10/19 as well and haven't heard anything back yet. I suspect this is because I will be going to the faculty committee (and a bunch of the other early people who haven't heard yet). I applied a few years back with an inferior personal statement, no work experience and an LSAT score which was 6 points lower. I was sent to faculty committee and then ultimately rejected. I'm guessing since they're the people who made the decision last time the AdComm is deferring to them for my new application. Hopefully there's still a bunch of slots still left to fill. I've gotten into 2 other top 10 schools but I want to return to California ASAP. Just thinking about the energy of the Berkeley campus and the last time I walked through the Sather Gate makes me dread the thought of getting a rejection! :(

No. I don't understand why you all on TLS leap to the worst possible conclusion lmao. I was just saying that the day after the carpet bombing, another rejection bomb was dropped the next day (it looks like ALL rejects), so I'm just thinking if it's like last year I don't want to hear ANYTHING from Berkeley today.

How did you know you went to faculty review? Did your status checker say that?
Ohh no, I just said I suspect that I'm going to faculty review. When I applied the last time there was a wave of rejections then I got an e-mail that I was going to faculty review. I mean who knows, I may still get rejected without going to the committee. For those who are going to faculty review though they'll probably get a final decision by mid to late February.
