Status checker updated today (as per usual)...still says complete...no decision mailed or anything...
But I was able to log in to the Admitted Students site today for the first time. It doesn't say I was admitted or anything though, so I'm not sure. It's just a blue page that says "Welcome, Mark Your Calendar, etc."
Is this what other people's admitted students login has looked like???!
When did you apply/when did you first go complete?
Yeah same thing happened to me today. Does that mean I'm in?

apologies if this is somewhere in the previous 50 pages, but does your status just automatically update everyday for Michigan?

Pretty much, don't put any stock in those updates.

Granted I was just allowed to login today, but I haven't received anything (despite mailroom stalking) and it doesn't even say "Decision Mailed."

I was complete 10/26
and had a new lsat score in mid october
I was not one of the 10/26ers today allowed onto the admitted students website...
At what point do I give up and go cry in my room?
... they wouldn't wait for the residency office to confirm my residency clarification would they? Could that slow it down, or am i just clasping at straws?

I think you're beginning to exhibit some of the melodramatic tendencies of your avatar. Just because you haven't gotten in yet today doesn't mean you won't and when the last batch of 10/26s got in it was over a stretch of about three days. So when should you give up and start crying in your room? Lets say Monday.

I remember reading on one of their FAQs that they give you the benefit of the doubt as to residency during the application process. So, no, it won't hold up your application.

Maybe I'm not doomed even if I don't get in by Monday

I don't think anyone in your position can be described as "doomed"
I do understand your desire to get more, but don't lose sight of the fortunate, envious situation you are in

Especially when you have nothing to worry about considering the vast majority of law school applications for this cycle haven't even been started yet - you have plenty of time.

"get more"?
I'm confused. Michigan is basically my far and ahead top choice...

I think he means you'll be getting into at least a decent number of T14 schools. And I think you're fine for Michigan.

I was referring to the fact that you went to a top UG and able to apply to a top law school in the first place.
ETA: and that you are already in at a top law school or two.

s0ph1e2007, I remember you from the February LSAT thread and that you had gone from ultra confident to very disappointed (albeit disappointed with, as I recall, a still very good LSAT). I assume the June LSAT went much better for you? Did you study a lot more or were you just more calm the second time around?

10/26 completion date... no news yet

Then again, I'm a splitter, so I guess I can't be expecting good news already.

I got in already with very similar numbers that are in your profile. You should be good to go.
