Yeah, it does.

Don't know if that excludes getting merit money outside of what comes with the packet, though-- like if you can get more money later. But money definitely comes with the letter.

My scholarship (75K) came about a week after the acceptance call.

No scholarship info in my acceptance letter. Seems weird to be getting money from Michigan on the same day I didn't get any from BU. Maybe something will come later.

In via voicemail last week on 01-13, got my acceptance package today...Dean's Scholarship. Wow.

I got in pretty fast, got the phone call on Friday and acceptance package today...nothing in the letter about scholarships except to say that I need to apply for financial aid and that is when they make merit and financial need decisions...does this mean no money or does it come later? Confused.

I think some people get scholly $$ in their acceptance packets. Maybe they give merit-based after the letters too?

In via phone call on Friday as well. When I called Dean Carr to follow up on the VM she left me, she said that any scholly info would be enclosed in my packet. Other than that there are opportunities to apply for other scholarships.

Haven't checked my packet yet, but I'll let y'all know when I get home tonight if something's waiting for me.

anecdotally, it is worse, obviously. i've heard its not pretty but not HORRENDOUS.

Just to end any doubt or lingering hope,

no scholarship in original means no merit scholarship.

You may have a chance during negotiation later on in the year, but it sucks for us.

interviewed by BU by Associate Dean John, and he said the decision will come out in six weeks. Is anyone in the same situation? I doubt if six weeks is another way of telling me that BU is gonna to reject my application. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure thats how it is for these later decisions? Because I got my scholarship offer about a week after my acceptance packet arrived.
