How many people would you guys say attended the chat? Was traveling and didn't have internet connection so couldn't make it. But I did submit a question to them via email, hope they got to it. I really think they're doing this to gauge interest.

Are you using your real name? Because I asked a question under a creative username and it didn't show up, but when I used my real name it showed up.
Yeah I used my real name thanks though.

I believe that answer was in regards to a question that asked about when are the rest of the ED hold decisions going to be released. (not sure tho, but we will have the transcript in 48 hours according to the email)

Did they say anything about when RD applicants would continue to hear back? I'm complete 11/17 and am still waiting.

Is this only for ED applicants who're still waiting or RD as well?

Probably. But still, why take so long then? Defeats the purpose of applying early.

You're thinking of it from an applicant standpoint. They want to reserve the ability to accept you because it has no cost and only benefits. For northwestern, the main reason to apply early is the 150k

so i have yet to request an online video interview, i think it gives 2 weeks to finish it.
http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissi ... d.html#OVI
the webpage says that there are just 6 questions each 1 minute + 30 sec prep, which should take like 9 minutes.
but says it takes 20-30 minutes. why?

They are including practice time, which I recommend 2-3 test runs just to get use to the format!

it doesn't seem they're including practice time. this is actual quote from the above website.
How long is the interview?
Approximately 20-30 minutes once you move past practice round questions and begin your formal interview.

Each question should take no more than 2 minutes, including the question delivery, prep, and recording. I didn't take any breaks in between questions so it took about 12 minutes.

If you are in a third world country like I am, it might take several hours as the saving of the responses takes time.
So it can vary from 12 mins (as stated by the first world GoldenBear) to several hours (as confirmed by third world me) to perhaps much more (as will be confirmed by 4th-5th world brethren of ours when the replies posted by them on TLS weeks back will appear here sometime in the future based on their internet speeds.)
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
