Sept complete posted an acceptance 45 minutes ago. Hopefully they are now doing the second run through of earlier applicants and filling the class with those they held.

I'm having deja vu posting this so I've definitely either said it or thought it before, but from your lips to Dean Deal's earsWhittie wrote:Sept complete posted an acceptance 45 minutes ago. I think this is consonant with Dean Deal's blog posts regarding the application process. But then again, it's hard to see the forest as one of the trees right now. There's a chance SLS is doing things differently this year.SmallK wrote:I'm having deja vu posting this so I've definitely either said it or thought it before, but from your lips to Dean Deal's earsWhittie wrote:Sept complete posted an acceptance 45 minutes ago. Makes sense on all counts. Any speculation on whether they'll start expanding the admitted window from a few calls 11-12EST? There was one outlier who got an afternoon call a few pages back, which is giving me more hope than it should.Whittie wrote:I think this is consonant with Dean Deal's blog posts regarding the application process. So it turns out my DLS was a waitlist--looks like that has been most of the decisions this week. Hopefully that provides some hope to the remaining waiters.

This has probably been mused on like 900 times in TLS history, but I truly do not understand why SLS kills trees in order to WL/reject people.
It's a small thing but it seems wasteful and pointless.
