So, how do they notify acceptance/rejection/waitlist? E-mail/mail/phone-call?

Acceptances are via email, rejections are via snail mail I believe, and waitlists have been displayed on the status checker and later followed up by an email.

In the last month everything has been by email. If they go back to snail mail I may actually lose it.

DF this afternoon... no e-mail ?

DF today too. No email as well. No updates to the requirement list at the bottom.... rejection I suppose! ha

My understanding was yes at a point that's what it meant, but they changed to emailing everybody regardless of decision once they got closer to deposit deadlines., so it stopped meaning anything. It would be really crappy of them to keep us all hanging with letters in the mail at this point in time. Not everyone applying to schools knows this silence to be a rejection because I don't think everyone looks at threads like this. I think it's really rude of them to go back to letters so late in the game when we all have decisions to be making. Sorry for turning my response into a vent

I'm with you there...however I just got the ding email so I guess they're starting to get a move on!! I'm just glad to finally know the outcome.

I did too, maybe they heard my whining (the bit about transferring ticked me off though lol). Oh well, BU ain't terrible, what's one spot in ranking for someone like me, I'm not too picky. Good luck to everyone else still waiting and making decisions!!

Extremely disappointed. I basically sent them 3 offers. One of 105K in the top 30, one of 81k in the top 20, and one of 81 in the top 25. Asked for reconsideration before law day, got the no money left until deposits answer. After law day I made sure to be proactive after submitting what I considered to be a "good faith" deposit and sending another email that I'd like a reconsideration if any money got freed up, got a response saying after review I wasn't getting any more. This was my #1 but it's hard to justify just under 15k more debt a year over schools with similar placement numbers.

Those aren't the leverage that will grant you more money -- it might but nothing to be strongly disappointed about. Nevertheless, I do empathize with the disappointment as a similar ranked school to USC refused to budge even with a similar scholarship money from a T14.

well they might start throwing money after people if they didn't do well on deposit day but I assume they did given the increase of apps. The wildcard is UCLA, It's hard to say if they tried to raise their median to 167 which is their usual one or if they are still at 166 which means they will take more from USC.

I don't think it's good news. i think most of us who got rejected towards the end went from cr1 --FR--DF. CR2 is apparently either a WL or Acceptance. in most cases.

Just like some other fellow applicants I finally went into CR1 after several months of waiting. But. That happened yesterday and today I decided to register for June LSAT. Now I don't have the 'LSAT score (no future tests)' ticked in the requirements list and it kind of freaked me out. Am I being unreasonable or they seriously might not consider my app now?

upd. went to their FAQ and "This means, we will NOT review a file until all LSAT scores have posted for tests which you have registered."

I thought the application deadline is April 1st.

This is from USC's website:"Applications that are completed by February 1 receive priority review both for admission and scholarships. However, we will accept applications through April 1, 2016. This means that applicants who have not taken the LSAT until the February 2016 administration ARE eligible to apply." "Decisions typically are mailed beginning in mid-December and concluding around mid-May."

It seems you can only use your June score in next cycle. But I don't work for USC so I can't say for sure.

For you guys still sitting here, I'd like to say that the SBA president proclaimed himself to be a 'waitlist warrior' at Law Day. So... hope I see you guys in the Fall.

Also, it took me almost six months to go from app completed to admitted, and I was a straight admit!

They are just going to tell you that they will continue to evaluate applications until late May. I have been in Final Review for the last 3 weeks.
