In my email from last year there was a waitlist FAQs pdf that I can no longer open. I slightly remember that having some good info.

It said over 200 in 2013 but far less last year. Good luck everyone!LawsRUs wrote:Does the email say how many they usually expect to admit from the WL? Thanks.

2013 is when the medians tanked for everyone which is why there was so much waitlist activity. I highly doubt there will be as much WL activity this cycle

So I emailed the admissions office and I was told that decisions whether admitted or denied are sent out via postal mail. More waiting.....

That sounds positive to me...! A simple letter would take a lot less time to arrive, but that's just my two cents.ctkingsley wrote:Apparently they were mailed out yesterday and I was also told to please allow 7-10 days for arrival..... FML

The waitlist email says "In lieu of the video, wait-listed applicants remain free to submit a letter of continued interest..."aharri79 wrote:I just looked at one of the previous year's forums and people who didn't do the video were apparently the first to be taken off the waitlist. Wonder if sending in a LOCI makes any difference?

Anybody find info from previous cycles on tips or anything for the video? And feels great to know they WL 450 people... USC is breaking my heart. Hoping the 110 that deposited include a vast majority that double deposited

I'd be really interested to see this as well. Please post if someone finds something or has first hand experience!

Has anyone received more than one scholarship increase from USC? Based on my heavy-splitter numbers I've probably already received as much as they're going to give me, but they're sooooooooo close and I'm curious if there's any chance at all of another bump.

Here goes….
1 What do you view as your most significant accomplishment and why?
2 If you could not pursue a career as an attorney, what profession would you pursue and why?
3 Discuss a risk you have taken or ethical dilemma you have faced, your response, and its impact on you.
4 Discuss some particular challenge of the world, and how your becoming a lawyer might influence it.

There was a person in the other thread who received two bumps. You might have to read through it. S/he had ND as leverage.spencercross wrote:Has anyone received more than one scholarship increase from USC? Hey, you might want to ask for success stories of how people have gotten in from the WL here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &start=200. A current student might be able to help you. Just ask if they know anyone, their friends and acquaintances, who has gotten in from the WL. There's an active TLSer in that thread, you might want to pm him/her.aharri79 wrote:Here goes….
