I would email them to clarify - can't really hurt at this pointDulman wrote:My reject letter said they can't offer me a spot in the 2014 entering class.
Am I dense or is that a typo?
2014.
Wouldn't it be for the 2015 class?

So...any other admits? Or just dings? Or is there more to come? Because I'm still sitting in my motel room in "Complete-town" U.S.A. and I'm running out of clean underwear...things is getting serious.
Or are we all waitlisted?

No decision letter at all and status changer still says complete.
I'm assuming they're done for the day since it's past 5 their time now?

Great summary of February 4, 2015. This day will be recorded in history books as the day of triple-trolling.still wrote:from a tantalizing tweet to a broken status checker and "2014" ding blunder, NU trolled the ship out of lsn

There's gotta be another wave today or tomorrow right?
I feel as though they have to get back to so many people still on or before Monday...
Or they can just move the deadline - again

Why before Monday, specifically?ChemEng1642 wrote:There's gotta be another wave today or tomorrow right?

I'm so glad I'm not part of the waiting madness. Doesn't seem like much fun.
Edit: to the guy above - It probably had to do with NU saying decisions would come within 10 weeks of application completion. NU already broke their 8 week commitment so it's probably not a 100% hard deadline at this point.

NU said they'd start giving out decisions at the 8-week mark starting on Dec 1. Right around 8 weeks, they changed their notices to "10-12 weeks". I believe Monday, then, would be the 10-week point. But far too few have gotten decisions thus far and it seems unlikely that all such decision calls can be made in a single day (Monday) without the power to stopper time.kendallr12 wrote:Why before Monday, specifically?ChemEng1642 wrote:There's gotta be another wave today or tomorrow right?

I have been quietly watching this thread for a while, and I can't imagine waiting since Oct/Nov like some of you have. Gray, you have no idea how badly I'd like to buy you a drink.Gray wrote:.... please, Johann...mickey_mouse wrote: right guys?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
