From experience, if a decision has been made they would have notified you by email or phone by now. I think you should be expecting a letter from them soon, WL or reject. IMO.Jellybean1 wrote:No seat deposit #s. I'm preparing for reject , best case waitlist. Any chance it could b waitlist or should I have heard by now?

I am at 168 now, but have not gotten much love this cycle fro T14 thus far. Hopefully I can get off the waitlist at Michigan or UVA, because taking a year off isn't an option for me.kyle010723 wrote:That's what I was thinking, 168 URM should be deadlock on T14, no need to consider ND at that point.LyricsToLitigation wrote: 168 + urm = boom!

Still nothing for me since my third complete on 2/28. Application was originally complete on 1/14. My numbers aren't great so hopefully this means there's interest on their part.

I'm in the same boat, Mitchellcar...at this point I just wish they would give me a decision already. I don't know if I should look at the fact that they haven't rejected me yet as a good sign or the fact that my application is in its seventh week of being complete as a bad sign. Either way, a decision would be nice.Mitchellcar wrote:I didn't have any change. Still stuck on 2/11. The way I look at it is the longer we stay alive and don't get rejected the better hahaesperando127 wrote:I'm in the same boat, Mitchellcar...at this point I just wish they would give me a decision already. I wouldn't worry. There pretty much no way we can tell what any of these updates mean.

Just a FYI
Statuses
Application Incomplete – Your application has been received, but is not complete. The checklist can be used to determine what items are needed to complete the application. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Application Complete – Your application is complete and ready for review. We use a holistic file review process that typically takes four to six weeks to complete. Decisions will be mailed on a rolling basis.
Decision Made – Our Committee has completed its review of your application. Your decision has been mailed to you. We NEVER release decisions by telephone.
Deposit Received – An admitted individual has paid the seat deposit required.
Declined Admission Offer – An applicant was offered admission but either decided not to attend, or failed to deposit by the deadline as stated in his or her decision letter.
Status on the Waitlist Confirmed – An applicant was offered further consideration through the waitlist process and has indicated he or she wants to receive further consideration.
Declined Waitlist Consideration – An applicant was offered further consideration through the waitlist process and either declined further consideration, or failed to respond by the deadline as stated in his or her decision letter.

Talked to one of the admissions people, he said they do not, I repeat DO NOT alter their initial scholarship offers for individual students. No idea if that is true or not.

Re: Notre Dame Law School c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
That seems so weird to me because I visited ND a few weeks ago and the woman leading my information session specifically said that if you send them a PDF of another offer they will take it into consideration. She said they couldn't guarantee matching it but they wanted to be as competitive as possible this cycle. Not sure who to believe nowJJ123 wrote:Talked to one of the admissions people, he said they do not, I repeat DO NOT alter their initial scholarship offers for individual students. Just received my packet with the letter stating 20k/year. A bit less than Emory, but including CoA, it ends up cheaper. Going to ASW and try to get a feel for the place, though am (a tad) disappointment with their lack of reconsideration for scholarships. Anyone else heading to South Bend for ASW?

Don't let one person's word deter you. Try to negotiate, even if they say they won't. What's the worst that can happen, they say no? Best case- law school gets cheaper for you. Worst case- an adcomm thinks you're an ass for trying anyway. You're already in. Try it.Kanye West wrote:Just received my packet with the letter stating 20k/year.
