Does the February 28th deadline mean midnight on February 28th (that is, 11:59pm EST on the 28th), or that materials have to be in on 11:59pm EST on February 27th?

Funny, there is actually a Supreme Court case about this very topic.

YLS says All applications must be submitted no later than February 28, 2014. I think the plain meaning is that you have until the end of February 28th, presumably 11:59, but maybe end of business. But always better safe than sorry... Is there information on the LSAC website when you're working on your app? Giterdone!

To the person asking about what time tomorrow it's due, I found this comment from 2010 on Asha's blog:

We are glad to hear that the blog is helpful and that you are excited about Yale.
Our electronic application lists a deadline of 2/15, but you actually have until 11:59 pm ET on 2/17 to submit your application. There is no disadvantage to applying this late.
Unfortunately, we do not accept applications after this date. If you're not able to apply by tomorrow evening, please consider applying next year.

Personally, I'm treating it like it's due by 11:59 PM EST tomorrow, which means that we have approximately 36 hours until the deadline .

I have finally submitted my app and can now officially join this thread! And I didn't even wait until 11:59pm like I was somewhat expecting of myself

I'm assuming Asha received my application and thought, "MUCH WOW! what a perfectly normal, totally-average KJD! She'll help us keep our medians! *runs to twitter*"

And by "keep our medians," I mean "keep our median GPA below a 4.0 and median LSAT below a 175."

Also, if I was an adcom I'd just treat my twitter like a normal method of conversing with friends. IE: "Only good news coming from New Haven for the rest of he week!" [good news consisting of: found a $10 in my pocket, finished HOC and it was SO GOOD!!!11!!11!, will be sunny all week]

you should be glad. TLS only increases anxiety and neurotic behaviors. but you would at least experience one of them from now on.

50<LSAT<75 percentiles, GPA>75th. Mildly interesting (but by no means stellar) softs, I guess?
I know that Yale is said to be less number-oriented than other schools, so if there's anything else you want to know other than the dry stats that I provided above, let me know!
