I received my acceptance to Michigan through the Status Checker today and it says the offer package was sent on 01/05, but I have "zero awards found" when looking at the Financial Aid Award Info under Mail and Money.

Any chance they haven't posted it yet or should I resign myself to the fact that I'm footing the full bill at Michigan?

On the plus side, it looks like I got in for Summer Term. Definitely an interesting option to mix things up!

If you only clicked Fall start they can't assign you to Summer start, right? I can't leave my job until after July 31 and would hate to have to count Michigan out because of some thing I didn't even sign up for.

As I've mentioned multiple times, it took about a month for my scholarship to show up. Others have mentioned it taking up to a few weeks. Don't give up hope!

In other news, I REALLY like them and their personal note to me (along with the underlined VERY in the letter) and I think I'll be attending an ASW. I had a heart-to-heart with my parents and they don't want to me become debt-ridden either. My parents told me "I should go to the highest bidder" Anyone know about their California placement/California firms at OCI?

I also received my packet today (dated 12/26 last year, but took a while because I live overseas). I'm thrilled!

Just about.

I think it updated for me everyday except Sunday (and sometimes even Sunday), even on Christmas, until that odd period last week when it stayed on Jan 2 for a while.

Hey guys. I guess I'm checking in. I just got the fee-waiver packet in the mail yesterday, which was a shock to me because my LSAT doesnt exactly meet UM standards (164). Feels like they want me to apply so they can deny me but I figured what the hell. I'm retaking in February maybe that'll help my chances.

Just got admitted yesterday. Pretty psyched. However, I was admitted non-ED to the summer session. I hear really good things, and would be down to do it, but I started a good job fairly recently (when I was still filling out apps/ unsure if I was even going this cycle) that pays very well. It'd also be nice to save some extra money and vacation a little before the grind of law school.

Is UMich pretty flexible about moving me to fall start? And/or am I crazy for not jumping at the summer start option?

from what I am learning, UMich is a very elite school which alot of character -- I would take it and celebrate . Unless you have some fantastic other options. From what I hear, summer start has some natural advantages also in terms of adjustment.

Anyone know if Michigan has done any big batches of decisions? Seems they like to methodically trickle them out...at least for admits.

Not sure. I almost didn't check because there were no other acceptances on TLS yet today though. Last year I remember they did a massive batch of waitlists on the same day, sometime in February I think.

Because of their weird status checker - if you're accepted, is it always there in the morning when you check, or is it possible for it to be "completed" in the morning and a different status in the evening?
