uhhh, thanks again for the words of encouragement. But I doubt it's YP since I know people with 178/3.95 who got accepted and are WAY more likely YP candidates than me. Also, I have almost no shot at YHS with my numbers.
It's ok, I'll stay positive and congrats to those who got in today!

Edit: Whoops, meant "Duke" should have been a slam dunk in my last post. Haven't heard from Penn yet.

Don't know your numbers but if you think you should be a slam dunk, assume YP and submit a LOCI.

Took advantage of a fee waiver they granted the other day and applied yesterday. Complete today and under review.

They email to notify (it will say decision rendered on the status checker some time before the email gets in) and this has happened on weekends for PT applicants.

Quick question: Does the status checker update specifically to "Under Review"? My status has been "File Complete; Ready for Review" since 1/7 and I was curious if I should be expecting another status change before I receive a decision.

P.S. Checking in. 4.04/172. Submitted 12/8, but didn't go complete until 1/7 as a Dean's letter explaining Academic Probation due one poor course (D) from over a decade ago was misapplied as a LOR... On the upside, it would seem the Dean sent a kind enough letter that someone might confuse it for a LOR .

Does this mean that I will receive a response 10 days from complete date (1/14) or from the email acknowledging completion date (1/15)? Any PTers recall?

I just got in from PT last night. I was complete 1/14, got the email at 3:53 california time 1/23; I'm assuming they could have gone until today if they had to though. totally made the remaining 1.5 of my work day. not sure if that answers your question though

EDIT: but just checked, I got my confirmation email on 1/14. so if yours is 1/15, then its probably 10 days from then = tomorrow. but they will work way past 5PM east coast time to finish the PT apps so you never know what time you'll get a response.
Also if it doesn't turn out, as someone just mentioned, I've seen so many people with your numbers get reserved/waitlisted since duke knows you'll take HYS over them anyway; mine were just low enough that I'm not eligible for HYS so in that sense I was "lucky"

Heh it seems like they are getting to some non-PT people but at a snail's pace. Some have been acceptances, some have been WLs. As for me, I am still UR 9/28. Idk why the hell they would be holding my application for 4 months now.
