Yes!
I think we can assume the "countdown" starts today since yesterday was the official deadline for their need access scholarships... Also, does anyone (here's where you current students come to the rescue) know if the schollies come in via snail mail or e-mail??
They send it snail mail.
God I hope so, because this 168/3.5 is really really praying for it.
yo scarlet, this 168/3.5 is praying for an acceptance! also, winks on saturday, i'm just sayin...

Obviously I don't know for sure, but I think so. Last year I felt like the scholarship was based more on GPA than LSAT. (And scarlet - I had a 3.5 and got money)msblaw89 wrote:Can a 168,3.8 non needs based get any $$$?

Don't know if I'm even going to bother. Waitlisters don't get much in the way of financial aid, right?

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
hey guys,
first post here. Vandy is my first choice for sure. Although my LSAT is way below their %25. My GPA is between %25-%75. I'm international, i don't care if i get in to fill a quota!
Applied on dec 18
complete Jan 2
Still waiting on decision mailed. check it 5 times a day, even on weekends when i know it doesn't change (very sad).
Should I send a LOCI to emphasize that Vanderbilt is my number one choice? I will drop everything in my life and go if i get accepted. My interview went great and my references are fantastic.
I doubt ill get in. I Keep dreaming of the elusive mythical creature that is black box. Congrats to all of you who got one!

No use not sending the form in. Although at this point I would probably rather go to UT since there PROBABLY (and I know this point has been contested...with evidence, even) wont be any $flyingduck wrote:Sorry to hear that. Are you planning on riding it out?T00L wrote:Also a 2/10 wait list.
75 LSAT.
50gpa.
Would have liked to have known sooner. ComPlete 9/23.

Congratulations! Do you know if this is the only TLS invite to have gone out yet? I was gunning for this award, and will have a hard time turning down Harvard if I do not get it...

I got a decision mailed date on 2/17 but no email or other notifications thus far. Does fedex always send a package notification? How long does it usually take to get something in the mail? I'm starting to think WL/Rej...

FingersCrossed, it sounds like interviews are across the board, but I could be wrong. Here's what the email said: "...your Vanderbilt Law Scholars Merit Award application has been chosen to continue to the next stage of the selection process; the Scholarship Committee invites you to visit campus for Law Scholar interviews."
Rwill, I didn't get a package notification from FedEx when my box shipped, so don't lose hope!
