Ah.

My reasoning is: Tech should let me know what is going to happen in the next week or so. That will pretty much sum up my cycle and where I attend.

Sounds like a decent plan. I'm still holding out hope for SMU, and I somehow got WL'd by WUSTL yesterday.

Texas Tech or STCL. I'm also leaving Tulsa open for now.

Withdrew from the rest, or the seat deposits will not be sent in to others.

i still havent heard from wesleyan. I called them up yesterday and asked if i should be ready to receive a response before the 1st and they said not necessarily. I should still wait for another couple of weeks.

I'm glad they are having admitted student days all the way until end of April. Do they have more after this date? This makes me a little less anxious - I didn't want to miss this. "A little less anxious" is an overstatement... A teeny sigh of brief relief and I'm back to being a nervous wreck. Oh boy.

Dear XXXXXX,

As you may know, the Office of Admissions will be hosting Admitted Student Receptions at the South Texas campus on Saturday, April 2 and on Saturday, April 30. These receptions will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m. You are welcome to attend both receptions, however, the program for each reception is the same. From 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., remarks from faculty, alumni, and administrators; and from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., reception and guided campus tours.

If you have not done so already, you may R.S.V.P. for these events by sending an e-mail to admissions@stcl.edu or calling (713) 646-1810. Please indicate which reception(s) you plan to attend and the number of people in your party.

This sounds almost identical to the open house that I went to a few months ago. Except the tours were self-guided.

Last night I met some very successful alumni from the 1970s-2008.

yea im not gonna lie it was painful to pay the 300 dollar deposit, but I need a back up option here in Texas, my only other option right now is MSU. Still waiting to hear from Tech, U of H and STCL.

haha this is nice. we all made deposits to st. mary's and are still waiting on stcl, and UH. If we dont get into stcl, we can sit in san antonio and reminisce about the long wait, either that or sit in houston and hate on stcl's admissions committee.
