Rubenstein changed his mind: they are giving out all 60 schollies this year!
Out of curiosity, how many would turn down Hys for a rubenstein?

I didn't apply till early/mid Nov. Based on last year, they didn't issue decisions until early Feb for people applying in this time frame.

Doesn't sound like last year's precedent will hold. They announced on twitter that they were releasing a large batch next week, including apps from Sept. - Nov. So it seems that everyone with a 1/7 update should expect some sort of decision next week.

yeah, i wasnt expecting a decision because most people with my submit dates didnt hear back until early Feb., but there is no way they would post those updates on twitter specifically including November submittees and then not let us know until Feb. Looks like they are really bustin their balls this year to get out decisions earlier

You got dinged ragged? Or are you still being pessimistic?
I updated to 1/7 UR as well from being 12/1 UR I think, I stopped checking around break. Who knows. But who knows what will happen.
P.S. This cat stuff needs to stop...I can tell I won't have many TLS friends in law school at this rate.

No, I'm still in the running but not really expecting any good news with my retakes and sub-median GPA and all.

I just checked my status and am now UR 1-7 after an 11-23 submission and a 12-8 complete.
Hopefully I can get my waitlist/reject soon and move on lol.

12/20 -> 1/7. Slightly below median for both. Favorite reach, but obviously doubtful.

Think I'm a solid applicant. Good luck this week everyone!
