Dear Berkeley,

I thought I could trick you into accepting me by writing a personal statement about what a big lezzie I am (you're into that sort of thing, right?).

As it turns out, I'm really a closeted conservative and don't want to go to your lefty school anyway.

Sincerely,
Apple1234

For clarification: I actually am the anomaly that is a conservative (or at least moderate) gay.

Harvahd, Stanford and Penn.
You guys have saved my nearly $100 on a clearly pointless application to Yale.

Thanks Harvahd, you started the ball-rolling, but you might have been more sincere in your email
Confirmed by a DLS from Stanford, yet to read, and a more pleasant rejection email from UPenn.

I'll put that money to some more homebrew-making kit!
Cheers

You should meet my gay best friend =]

Dinged at Berkeley. Sucks because I definitely could have imagined spending three more years of my life at Bancroft and College, taking in the sun at Caffè Strada.

Northwestern, who do you think you are? $100 for an application? A special "evaluation" section instead of LORs which is essentially a series of essays that will amount to like 6 hours of work for my recommenders? Chicago is freezing. Purple is for sissies.

Simple and to the point. Love it.

California is the hottest mess of a state there is. Who wants to live there anyway?

Not actually dinged anywhere in California (because I dinged all of them first by not applying anywhere in California), but I'll chime in anyway.

California sucks. You'll be much better off in a place with actual seasonal weather.*

*ok this might only appeal to me, but still.

Well, I edited because I remembered that Bils is from Colorado, so he should most certianly NOT become a Blues and/or Caps fan, because GO AVALANCHE.

He may, if he so chooses, attend Blues and/or Caps games and cheer for them when they are playing a team other than Colorado. Or Boston.

Chicago-

You have a reputation for having the most socially inept student body, and that is among the top law schools in the country that are generally filled with nerds and assholes. I am not sure what is more unappealing, your love of rigor or the chance to participate in your social experiment to see whether aspergers can be contagious. When I think about you, all I can think is WoW, as in world of warcraft. Nerds!

By the way you can consider this my LOCI.

$100 bucks! Who do you think you are Stanford? Use it to buy a Big10 championship.

Ironically, Ogre actually owns this bar in Chicago: http://www.tradertodd.com/

He partied with a friend of mine one night; Ogre loves his weed IRL. True, and hilarious, story bro.
