24K/year with 3.0 stipulation. Anyone know how W&L is in terms of negotiations? I have nothing to leverage with yet but it's early for me.

Thanks, I wasn't even considering W&L that much as I've had some decent offers from other places but this scholly offer is now going to cause a re-think. I was a 1/20 acceptance btw.Slimpee wrote:Wow! I was WL'ed w/ numbers juuust belows yours. Congrats!Gunners87 wrote:Just got 30k a year e-mail, didn't expect that much really (numbers were 165/3.6x). Pretty funny I haven't received my acceptance letter yet so I guess I am in, right? haha

nm! I'm from 1/20 batch. Just got the email.
$10,500, which is nice, considering that I was expecting $0.
This is also how I found out of my ACCEPTANCE. It's been 9 days and the mail still has not come.

They seem like a nice school. My email said that 80% of students stay above a 3.0.SAE wrote:Any knowledge of section stacking at W&L?

DUMB QUESTION. Does the following mean that there's 10.5 in total or annually?
I'm happy to report that award decisions have been finalized and a formal letter offering you a scholarship in the amount of $10,500 will be forthcoming.

I got offered $10,500/yr, same 3.0 gpa requirement. I have mixed feelings about the offer but W&L is a great school, no doubt!

Thanks. Just saw the "renewable" language. Jumped the gun. I told you it was stupid in the first place.holybartender wrote: Annually.

I got $15,000 annually!!! Definitely a strong pull to Lexington, since it's already so reasonable.

Holy crap. I did not expect $34,000/year.

Looks like W&L is being overwhelmingly generous. Consider posts above and the free apps.
Is this something new or are they known for it?
