Vandy and ND are two schools that are making a serious effort (from what i've heard) to recruit GLBT students in order to counteract their homophobic reputations. Now I don't know how true this is, but maybe it'll get me some action there. My resume is nice too, not much work experience, but it has half a page--single spaced size 11 font of 1 line campus leadership titles I hold, and I don't mean, "club president", I mean "board of trustees", "faculty senate X committee", "teaching assistant"

Well ND could have fooled me.

If I were in your shoes, and I got into Vandy, I would not consider ND.

I applied to ND so when they offered me money I could pretend I liked them and try to beg BC to match it.

BC Yp'd me (at least thats what I need to believe) so it isn't an issue.

Do they send WL and reject priority as well, or just pre-sorted first class?

I think only accepts get priority mail, WL and rejects come via regular mail...So if I dont get mail by Monday I think Im getting regular mail

I have the same DM date but my mail doesnt come until around 3 or so. And then I have to wait to get off work to check...THE AGONY!!!!!!!

So I just checked your profile (is that creepy?) and saw you've applied to GW. Hypothetically, if they give you significant money, and Vandy does not, which would you choose? if you don't mind me asking.

Soo, Im thinking I have a rejection letter waiting for me at home bc I My apt office was closing early so I asked he rif there was a package for me and she said no the mailman didnt bring me any.... SAD

LOL not creepy at all. I check people's profile all the time. If I am fortunate enough to get to make that decision, it would be tough. My parents live in Maryland, so I would love to move closer to them. And graduating with less debt would obviously be a huge plus. I guess at that point I would just have to visit both schools and see where I felt more comfortable. At this point though, I'm leaning more towards Vandy (probably biased since this is my first and only acceptance thus far )

Well, no envelope today unless it's with our package valet in the building. I'm guessing we won't get mail tomorrow with all the snow, despite what USPS says about rain, sleet, and snow.
