skinny jeans: check
let's see how many dbags there are waiting on this thread. way more fun than posting our stats and wondering why our mailboxes are still empty

My sense of double standards tells me that if you're a girl, that is all perfectly acceptable.autumn80 wrote:Macbook: check

I like this idea:
Macbook: check
chai: check
scarf: only when it's cold enough to be warranted
blazer: not casually
skinny jeans: def. not
I'm like half a douche.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Be sure to check Pitchfork to know what music you should be listening to.
EDIT: Answer is most likely Animal Collective.

I'll join in.
Macbook: Nope. Macbook Pro
chai: Nope. Fair Trade Green Tea.
scarf: Sometimes.
blazer: Yep with elbow patches.
skinny jeans: Wish I could fit into those.
So mostly DB, but I'm allowed as a non traditional student at my school, since most think I am a prof or PhD candidate anyways.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Don't you hate it when your favorite music gets popular? It's hard to be that guy who listens to music no one else has heard of when the big execs keep their ear to the street and then hybridize it with mainstream badness so that when you mention what you listen to, everyone thinks they know what you are talking about except they can only describe it through watered down versions of the genres you listen to so then you have to move on with the other "avant garde" people and find some new shit that everyone else acts like a deer in headlights to until it gets popular and they all love it. It's a fun cycle.goodolgil wrote:I'm a big Animal Collective fan, but the hype train is a little out of control.

We're kidding. It's just that a lot of people like to incorporate things that should be done in good intention into their platform for why they are better than you. I'm glad people are starting to drink more tea nowadays. I'm not a fan of green tea myself, it tastes like leaves to me.CyLaw wrote:Is there something wrong with wanting poor farmers in third world countries to earn a decent standard of living, and to be able to provide for their....... Oh I know, I was trying to pretend to be one of those elisist dbags that lectures others, but it is really hard when really the only reason I have Fair Trade right now is because my wife bought the tea.shadowfrost000 wrote: We're kidding. Surprisingly that is why I like green tea. Seems to get more taste from the plant itself compared to black or red teas. And it seems more consistent then herbal or flower teas.I'm not a fan of green tea myself, it tastes like leaves to me

Whatever dude. At least you're not a stereotypical computer science student who wears the latest fashions from 1983 and hasn't showered since then either.CyLaw wrote:Crap.
