That makes sense. I'm in class at smu right now and it took me about 30 min to even post that.

+1tinyone wrote:Yeah that happened to me too! A letter from SMU was sent to my permanent address (parents) although I received a copy of the same letter at my current address. I'm hoping that my ID has been sent to my parents house and thats why I havent received it yet.
Haven't lived there in years but it's still a perm address (especially considering I'm moving in the fall ...). Both went there instead of here.
Also, got a rejection letter from HS via SMU. No idea when I got all of the letters-- been gone all week for SB. Hope to see some of you TLSers at the ASD tomorrow!

Also, anyone know if they are serving breakfast?
And can we bring along someone?

They're serving breakfast and lunch. Nothing was mentioned about guests.kalvano wrote:Also, anyone know if they are serving breakfast?

I emailed them earlier this week and asked about bringing a guest. I asked about my wife, to which they said she was welcome. I'm assuming family/significant others are probably OK.
I talked to an L1 who said last year they had a light breakfast (bagels and the like) with a catered lunch (Hamburger Man???).
Hope that helps.

Calls were made for interviews earlier this week. Myself and at least one other person in this forum got a call on the 16th.

I left ASD today feeling pretty confident in my choice to go to SMU.maxpayne wrote:So how was the ASD?

Ok, thanks. No Sarah T Hughes scholarship makes my decision much easier.blackeyeddog wrote:Calls were made for interviews earlier this week. Myself and at least one other person in this forum got a call on the 16th.

SMU has a great vibe as a law school. It's my 1(b) choice, but if my 1(a) doesn't work out, I would not be disappointed at all to spend 3 years there.
The presentation was great today, very comprehensive.

Did you guys come up with a secret handshake and did any of you try and perform it awkwardly with anyone who had no idea what was going on?

I met no one who offered up their secret TLS membership. Enjoyed the day though. Hopefully I inadvertently met some of you.

Haha! Tell me about it. I felt like a tool in my sweatervest.kalvano wrote:I felt overdressed in khakis.
EDIT: I should say, MORE of a tool than a sv usually warrants.
