Are the Buffs really gonna join the Pac-10?

That's the rumor, but I doubt it. They make a lot more sense in the Big XII. But they're playing poorly enough in basketball to join the Pac-10 this year.

CC / CU are the only schools in Colorado that were attractive to me. CC for the size and academics and CU for Boulder.

Same. I spent several weekends a month in Boulder, but I just loved the Block Plan at CC too much. Taking multiple classes at a time next year....downgrade.

Colorado Springs is extremely conservative. And one of the biggest cities in Colorado (I think 2nd behind Denver but I could be wrong). Actually, most of Colorado is pretty moderate-conservative except for Boulder and Denver counties.

Colorado Springs is extremely conservative. And one of the biggest cities in Colorado (I think 2nd behind Denver but I could be wrong). Actually, most of Colorado is pretty moderate-conservative except for Boulder and Denver counties.

This. CC is a little liberal enclave in the midst of evangelical and military conservatives.

I got mine on a Friday at around 10 am EST. I remember, because not only was I terribly hungover, I said "fuck" when the voicemail started right in front of my 78 year old grandma.

I got the call around 7 PM EST on a Friday. This was back in December, so I don't know if things have changed. HTH
