No, we're not. That guy is a motivation-less party animal by TLS standards.MetsFan wrote:if you read this thread, you'll quickly notice that most of us are "that guy"smiley wrote:dear future columbians . . . i'm a columbia UG, and as i walked past the law school on my way to work at 4:50 this morning, i noticed a handful of psychopaths in the library studying. congratulations on your acceptances, but please don't be that guy . . . it's not worth it, you can study at normal people hours and still do fine.

According to LSN, there are definitely still more than a couple who would be considered before me. I'm predicting it will be one of these 172-3/3.7+ jackasses who had a shot at HYS but instead, decided to keep me from Columbia, probably out of some personal vendetta.puppins wrote:you and who else?Helmholtz wrote:I predict two acceptances today.MetsFan wrote:and here we go again, folks

Hate to feel this way, but I love those guys because they open up a shot for me at Harvard.Helmholtz wrote:According to LSN, there are definitely still more than a couple who would be considered before me. I had a dream, Helm, and you were in it. And I'm a guy. And I'm engaged. To a girl. And I'm happy. I swear.
I was reading a poker message board, and you were posting on there, with the same name and avatar. And in my dream, I found it so funny - Oh wow! Helm plays poker? That's so funny.
That's all.

What kind of numbers do you have to be so optimistic?
