I can't find anything to support the idea that they DO give out butlers/hamiltons later (after acceptance) or that they negotiatedhbiv wrote:I'm surprised I didn't have enough for a Bulter either. 75th LSAT; similar GPA (+-.05 of yours). I wonder why not; can people qualify for Hamiltons/Butlers after being notified of acceptance? Does Columbia negotiate?ayylmao wrote:Well, guess my 25<LSAT<75 and 3.98 weren't enough for a Butler. There's also a difference between a named scholarship and just money right? You might be able to negotiate some amount.airwrecka wrote:I can't find anything to support the idea that they DO give out butlers/hamiltons later (after acceptance) or that they negotiatedhbiv wrote:I'm surprised I didn't have enough for a Bulter either. 75th LSAT; similar GPA (+-.05 of yours). however, even if the likelihood is low, there's no reason not to try! I definitely plan to try to negotiate later on. it's possible that people receive aid later on, but it's so much later that they stop caring about TLS enough to give us the info

From what i understand, it is still certainly possible to receive merit aid if you don't receive one of the named scholarships. They have a separate pool of money for merit based aid just like other schools, and you can negotiate after you receive your aid offer.dhbiv wrote:I'm surprised I didn't have enough for a Bulter either. 75th LSAT; similar GPA (within +-.05 of yours). They come as emails, but they are a scanned PDF of a physical letter that is also sent via snail mail.bgt1995 wrote:Sorry, kinda confused - do acceptances come as letters or emails?
Sounds like email but I did also hear people talking about CLS snail mail so I'm confused
