UR1 or UR2 (date change)?
UR1, I applied late January so that might be why.

Yeah, so more than likely they just didn't get to you yet. I'm more worried about going UR 2 the day people got interviews (2/5) since I know Cornell is a super longshot for me to begin with, I am far less than optimistic about where I stand. As for you guys are still UR 1, I wouldn't stress it because from what I've been reading in the this thread I can surmise that UR 1 is simply indicative of your app being complete but not necessarily touched yet. I've asked about twice so far with no response whether or not people (specifically in January, but I guess the past is fine too) have been dinged or WL'ed before ever hitting UR 2 and I have not gotten any responses, so I have no evidence supporting the fact that because you guys are UR 1 still has any correlation to acceptance/denial.

Just completed my interview this morning.

Does anyone know how long I shall wait before the decision comes out?

No one knows. Sometime between now and April.

I interviewed back on 12/18 and haven't heard back yet aside from status updates

I got admitted about 20 days after I interviewed, but it definitely varies on a case-by-case basis.

This. Unfortunately you ask 10 different people you get 10 different answers. There is so much variance with this process.

I spoke with an admissions counselor from a different school recently and he assured me that the wait is essentially meaningless. Mostly it depends on who got your file and what their workload is in and out of the admission process. It's not all the same people looking at all of the apps or even the same parts of each app.

So after doing some research on lawschoolnumbers I noticed that the scholarship amounts in 2014-15 were significantly greater than those offered for similar numbers in 2013-14. Do you guys think that these upped amounts will remain in place or will go back to previous levels?

I ED'd early January and got reserved -- which I'm pretty sure is the equivalent of their waitlist.

I don't think they'll decline very much, if at all. With apps only being slightly up (I think it's less than 1% per the latest cycle data from Spivey), they'll want to maintain their medians and class size or increase them and throwing out lots of money is generally the best way to do that. There's a new dean though and I have no idea what her policy on schollys is and she does seem to be making some changes since no Hughes schollys went out with acceptances so far this cycle and they did last cycle.

Hopefully it's just YP and a LOCI will bounce me in, has anyone else with comparable numbers had any similar experiences? WL at Georgetown and Penn as well and have yet to get any decisions from elsewhere, but I was also a somewhat late applicant (applied everywhere early December but I had all my apps held until my December LSAT score was released which was 1/4) so hopefully the cycle will start looking a bit better soon!

Weird question, but has anyone ever been admitted off of reserve prior to late-April/May? From what I understand, they won't reconsider your applications until basically the end of the cycle. However, this is going off what I've read about reserve from previous years; there's a new dean of admissions at Cornell Law. As such, I'm curious to know if it's being handled differently.

Were you UR 1 or UR 2 prior to the interview?

I was UR, but didn't pay enough attention to it early on to know if it changed at any point.

I interviewed 12/18 and am in the same situation. UR3 2/8 at this point.

I would love an interview at this point. It seems like a step in the right direction. (at least I believe it's better than just a date change)
