Being placed on hold also means that our class is not yet full. This is different than being placed on the summer waitlist, which means that the class is full and that you may only be admitted on a space available basis if a candidate who has committed later withdraws.

I found a thread from a couple years ago and every person on TLS who was held was eventually waitlisted. No denies... But also no reported admits. Essentially we have been waitlisted.

Yah. It probably depends year to year though.

Like, if this year, they don't have the class size they need, they admit some holds. Then, if they don't have enough from the holds, they go to the WL.

Just tryna find some optimism here.

Lol pretty sure that has happened every time he's posted--or at least the server has been super slow. The TLS community is strong.

Phewf! Safe...for now...

Anyone complete on or before 12/1 that still hasn't gotten a decision? Trying to gage if they're sticking to the 8-10 week timeline. I went complete 12/10 so hopefully will hear something by next week or the week after (though kind of doubt it)

I've been complete since October with no decision yet and know several others in the same boat.

Can someone tell me about the Skype interview? I don't have a webcam, would it be a huge deal for me to do it without one? I'm guessing that would just make it a black screen, but they could still hear my answers?... Has anyone done this and been accepted?

Yeah I've been complete since 11/4. They are not sticking to the 8-10 week timeline, which really bugs me, but they have all the power in this situation

So they do know how many times we log in to the status checker... Although I'm a little surprised 422 is the high. Going to have to step up my game.

...what does it say about me that the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that tweet was if the numbers were all-time totals or daily?

Also I'm very glad that I didn't see that Johann tweet about holds/denies until after I checked my status for the fifth time today.

Also I'm potentially calling bullshit on 12 being the average number of times someone logs into status checker (unless it's per day). We 0L folk all seem to be way more neurotic than that.

Considering how many people pay sticker, think they can predict their class rank performance, make massive career shifts, and or just outright have mythologically-fantastic views of their earning potential after law school, I can firmly believe that the majority of people don't check after their application goes complete or generally don't care as much as they should about this whole process.

I feel like TLSers and lurkers are exposed to a positive feedback loop of anxiety, especially if they browse this forum.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
