What is the typical separation between UR4 and Decision?

Hopefully not much. I'm at UR4 today after an early February UR3.packer_22 wrote:What is the typical separation between UR4 and Decision?

Same! (Well, I went UR3 like a week ago) I'm impressed that they are changing statuses at 8:00 CST

Assuming that we will see a wave of decisions for the UR4s this week, when do you think we will see new interviews for the Jan UR1s? Also, it is my understanding that if you move to UR2 without being invited for an interview, your fate is sealed for a WL/Ding? Still waiting on that drink, Wahrheit (on me).

Yup been UR4 for several weeks now. The quick turnaround from UR4 to a decision is hardly a guarantee this cycle.Wahrheit wrote:Previously like a week tops, but this cycle is shenanigans so chill and roll with it.nickhalden wrote:Hopefully not much. Yep, there were several of us who were in the UR4 12/29 wave and then didn't get accepted until early Feb. It seems like they are going by complete date (at least to an extent) so within a UR4 wave, some people with earlier complete dates will get accepted right afterwards and others with later complete dates will wait until the first or acceptance wave after that.js1663 wrote:Yup been UR4 for several weeks now. From their twitter:
@UChicagoLawApps: Having a great time building the Class of 2018! Applicants--another round of admission decisions just went out. We hope to see you at ASW!
Congrats to all the new admits!
The tweet is still up (https://twitter.com/UChicagoLawApps)... but maybe not? Or a very small wave..

In! Interviewed 10 days ago. Went straight from UR3 to admit actually. Thought my Interview was okay but then neglected to send a thank you e mail, and was beating myself up for that. Great way to kick off the week!

Seems a LOCI is required to ride the waitlist. Is this true?

In via email; interviewed a couple weeks ago. Surprised at the quick turnaround given that I'm kind of borderline for Chicago.

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
Was burning time at the end of the workday on Twitter (duh) and saw the decision day tweet go live. I pulled open my Google Inbox and saw the damn sun and clouds of Inbox Zero. Refreshed. Sun and Clouds. Refresh. Sun and clouds. Check my bookmarked SC. UR4. *sigh*
Imagine my surprise this evening when I saw the email from Dean Perry! Chicago is my top choice (at the right price) and I'm very excited. I interviewed at the beginning of February, during which Dean Perry and I commiserated over the Bears's season, and I went UR4 yesterday. Hoping for positive financial aid information soon!
