Gah! No info on Darrow for me yet. Do they notify you if you don't get it?

I bet the two week turnaround still applies, and if someone doesn't get it, I imagine they tell them they got a Dean's scholarship or some other scholly instead.w0w wrote:Gah! No info on Darrow for me yet. Do they notify you if you don't get it?

I hope so. I interviewed two weeks ago Saturday so I should hear by Friday. Anyone know how many people are interviewed vs how many get awards?

Re: Michigan Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
I'm not sure about the exact number, but from reading past threads, it seems as though the interview/essay in the past have served as a way to determine who is actually seriously interested in Mich. It appears as though most people who complete the interview/essay get one (though I'm not sure how the half Darrow figures into things). I hope you get it!!w0w wrote:hillz wrote:I bet the two week turnaround still applies, and if someone doesn't get it, I imagine they tell them they got a Dean's scholarship or some other scholly instead.w0w wrote:Gah! Congrats on those that received the Darrow! How were you notified - was it e-mail? I'm guessing it is but just wanted to double check.

Don't know about everyone, but I saw a post from someone that said they received a phone call.pylon wrote:Congrats on those that received the Darrow! How were you notified - was it e-mail? I'm guessing it is but just wanted to double check.
I think you are international, though, right? Definitely have no idea in that instance.

Michigan sent me a random extension for my application deadline via email (until March 1st). I'm not applying, but this might be a good sign for late applicants.

I got that email as well. My favorite part of it was this line:Dog wrote:Michigan sent me a random extension for my application deadline via email (until March 1st). I'm not applying, but this might be a good sign for late applicants.
But, at least as of a few days ago, you haven’t sent us anything at all. What the what?

UM was my dream school when I was a kid and they waitlisted me for undergrad. It's kind of ironic how they're sending me emails with the line "Give us a chance." now.paragonloop wrote:I got that email as well. Michigan's recruiting style is hands down my favorite of any law school... ever.paragonloop wrote:I got that email as well. Yo Michigan, if you're looking for more people to admit, there's that application I sent to you in October
