That would be so incredibly cruel. Fingers crossed that you'll get the acceptance email/call soon to calm your fears!savethewhales wrote:Just got an email to attend an admitted students reception on 2/24. Haven't received an email about actually being admitted. My status checker still shows UR 1/24 and I couldn't login to the admitted students site. Hope this isn't just a screw up.

No DLS! My mailings section just shows the initial email with login information to the status checker and now this email about the reception. Very strange.Skool wrote:No DLS?

No dice. Just tried again to make sure I wasn't crazy. Hopefully I get an email/call later today.mwonka wrote:Whaat! Have you try logging into the ASW again?savethewhales wrote:No DLS! Congrats! Hey, at least you've got options!savethewhales wrote:And constant refreshing pays off. Just changed to DLS. Super excited, but I want to stay in the Bay Area so Stanford/Berkeley are still my top choices.

Unfortunately, still waiting on everyone else. This was my first acceptance actually! Good luck to everyone still waiting. Hope some more decisions come out today.mwonka wrote:Congrats! Really wish Columbia/NYU and Stanford/Berkeley would switch when it comes to prioritizing GPA and LSAT scores

Can you explain what you mean about the priorities? I'm in at NYU and Cal, waiting & hoping for SLS or Columbia.ub3r wrote:In the same exact boat, my friend.savethewhales wrote:And constant refreshing pays off. Just changed to DLS. You'll probably get a decision before too long! NYU UR 2-DLS seems to be quick...for most.ErgoSum wrote:Just went UR2

It seems like Stanford/Berkeley place a higher priority on GPA (comparatively), while Columbia/NYU prioritize LSAT.mwonka wrote:Can you explain what you mean about the priorities? Really? What's considered quick? I've been UR2 since 1/25....

UR2 since 1/18. I think there are people on both sides; some go from UR2 to DLS in ~week/2, some seem to have taken a lot longer

Wonder when the next wave will be? I suppose I should worry about getting to UR2 first...
UR - 1/5 --> UR1 - 1/7
Before anyone says it, I know I haven't been waiting that long.
Can't help myself, I guess.

I thought that it was established earlier there is no UR.... I think it's this:
Complete--> UR1--> UR2 .
Not this:
Complete--> UR--> UR1--> UR2
Can anyone confirm or correct me if I'm wrong?

You are right; I went from Complete (12/18) -> UR1 (12/19) -> DLS/admit (1/7)ticklemesilly wrote:mindthegap wrote:Wonder when the next wave will be? I suppose I should worry about getting to UR2 first...

I see. I was going off what had been posted in the What To Expect When You're Expecting thread; I suppose I misunderstood what those date changes meant.ticklemesilly wrote:mindthegap wrote:Wonder when the next wave will be? I suppose I should worry about getting to UR2 first...
