After letting Duke know that you would like to do the scholarship interview, how long did you have to wait to hear back to actually get the interview scheduled?

It took a week for me to get a link to their interview scheduling site. After that you just go on and pick one of the available spots!

I submitted the app on 1/26 and receive the link to their interview site just a few hours ago today (1/28).

Same! Was yours also a 'provisional' acceptance, dependent on an interview for 'scholarships'?

This is normal, every accepted PT applicant got this. I wonder if it is a way of keeping the yield under control by not technically admitting people (and ultimately labeling as rejects) those who are not interested enough in Duke to either:

A) Have the scholarship interview (there is nothing to suggest that a bad interview would stop admission)

or

B) E-mail admissions and tell them that they don't want scholarships (they say in the PT acceptance that you can be officially admitted immediately if you don't want scholarships)

Are they on to RD yet? I went under review on 12/8 but radio silence since on the status checker. No interview request, but I'm not sure if that's only for PT and/or ED.

I'm guessing it won't show up. I was notified of Mordecai by phone followed by snail mail without anything showing up on SC.

Yeah, that's what my interviewer told me. She said once an applicant finishes the interview (if requested) and Need Access, you'd hear back pretty soon afterwards.

Congrats on the Mordecai. My interviewer explicitly told me to keep an eye on my status checker's mailing list. So maybe now that they are really digging in to scholarships they will be trying to keep up with it.

Thanks! I guess they might just not put it on the SC if they call? Looks like we'll have to wait until others get their letters and check their SCs. In the meantime, can't go wrong with neurotically checking the snail mail
