Amazing scholarship offer for me! 120K 166/3.97
Better than my offers from Duke and Michigan. Cornell is definitely in consideration now.

I feel like that about every school I've applied to this entire cycle.tincan678 wrote:168, 3.6 and my offer was smaller than I got from higher-ranked schools. I don't understand Cornell's plan here.

For those who got the scholarship offers, did you get them via email or mail?

For people getting scholarship offers, when did you submit your Cornell financial aid form thing?

Re: Cornell c/o 18 Applicants
Submitted app early Dec, completed early Jan, no movement since then. I'm above 75% GPA and under 25% LSAT so I'm not expecting the fastest response but I've heard back from everyone else thus far. I'm assuming I'm a pocket WL (WL where they don't tell you that you're on it).
Anyone else in a similar boat?

I can't remember exactly when I submitted the form, but I would say probably sometime around the second or third week of February. Then I got an email from Cornell on 3/4 saying that they received my form.Styx91 wrote:For people getting scholarship offers, when did you submit your Cornell financial aid form thing?

I'm a little confused here about FinAid.
What are you supposed to do if you receive an acceptance after March 16th (the deadline). No aid for you??

From the Cornell Law Financial Aid Info Sheet: "Subsequent admitted applicants will receive a new deadline in their acceptance letter."jbrantley wrote:I'm a little confused here about FinAid.

I was accepted in December and haven't heard a word about scholarships. Should I be following up?

What must you do to be considered for financial aid? Haven't received anything from them.

You need to submit (via fax or mail) the financial aid information sheet. You can find this on their website pretty easily.Oskosh wrote:What must you do to be considered for financial aid? Haven't received anything from them.
Check the PDF in your acceptance email - the fourth page provides all in the information you need.

I turned in my sheet and never heard anything either (accepted in January, above both 75ths) so I reached out to the financial aid department and they were able to confirm that I have everything in!Shelbinole wrote:did you turn in the financial aid info sheet?PN-G bamakid wrote:I was accepted in December and haven't heard a word about scholarships. I feel dumb. Totally forgot about the one-page sheet they have and just faxed it in last night. Need an aid offer ASAP, too. Foolishness.

I finally did my interview on the morning of the 3 week deadline. A while back I recall people talking about checking on how many views your video got. Where do you go to see that?

My app was complete for a while, but the box next to transcripts was unchecked, and after waiting a longgg time I finally called and they fixed it...maybe that's why I haven't heard back from them at all

Looks like it's payday at Cornell. 172/3.4x results in $45k. Not amazing, not terrible. Guess I'll have to see how my fleet of waitlists turns out.
