Easiest way to find out is just contact them and ask I suppose

What I think that email means is that if you have already been accepted than all awards have been sent. It's a pretty vague email though.

Frankly, I think they're just trying to dissuade some negotiating with that kind of language. Or, they just really didn't think about it and the person who does their newsletters is some marketing guy/girl who isn't related to the scholarship committee.

Probably the correct explanationJohn Everyman wrote:Frankly, I think they're just trying to dissuade some negotiating with that kind of language. I think it is referring to "all of the merit scholarships issued last week", not the week before, or the week after. We can argue for a while on the ambiguity of this sentence. It just shows how crazy we TLSers are with regards to this stuff haha.

Hey, I just noticed my "Application Complete" date shifted from 1/24 to 2/28 too.laballermvp9 wrote:Had my first complete on 1/14, second on 1/24, and now third today on 2/28. Does anyone have a similar pattern and have any idea what this means?

Submitted app late October. Just got a 'decision rendered' on my status checker but no deposit amounts. Does this mean no go? I was interested, and should be competitive, but I never submitted a Why ND essay.

Could be a waitlist. You said your numbers were competitive? Mabye it is yp? Or not writing the why ND hurt you. Did the status just change today or did you just not check it until today?fratstar1 wrote:Submitted app late October. Just got a 'decision rendered' on my status checker but no deposit amounts. Has anyone had any success with negotiating?
I just received a 4 point bump in my LSAT but based on conversation I has with the admissions office last week, it won't matter much.

It scares me they kept you waiting since October...maybe us 2/11-2nd-complete people won't be hearing back until April....fratstar1 wrote:Submitted app late October. I submitted on 1/10, and had 2 different complete dates, 3 at most, with competitive numbers and evidence that my application was strong, but I did not submit the Why ND essay and they ended up rejecting me after like a month and a half, ~mid-Februrary, and, of course, once it said decision made I did not have the deposit numbers.fratstar1 wrote:Submitted app late October. Nothing super concrete, she just seemed like it was very unusual for ND to reconsider. She was honestly pretty awkward and I wondering if the supposed change in scholarship practices had something to do with it.KanyeShrug wrote:dust_shaker wrote:Has anyone had any success with negotiating?

This is where I want to end up, I just want to make sure I don't leave anything on the table.

Was the 4pt jump pre or after 164? If you are negotiating with a 164 I would imagine it will be somewhat difficult, whereas a 168 would be a completely different story

That's what I was thinking, 168 URM should be deadlock on T14, no need to consider ND at that point.LyricsToLitigation wrote: 168 + urm = boom!
