I just want to confirm that I understand correctly: Status checker stays on 'Complete' and the date changes, correct?

Sigh, I guess they weren't kidding about waiting 6-8 weeks from December 1. Today marks 5 weeks, 6 days.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that we won't be hearing any decisions until at least the fourth week of January. The fact that the committee has waited this long on so many applications can only mean (to me anyways) that they're putting off making major decisions until they had a chance to review the December LSAT applicants. I dunno if it's because applications are really down by that much but it seems pretty clear that the school wants to review as many applications as possible before making the majority of their offers.

Hey, it's spring like weather in Chi town. Tonight is time for joy. NU will admit you all next week, but tonight, we celebrate!

There was a study that came out last year naming Facebook the most addictive entity beating out tobacco and mind altering substances. Clearly these people have never been introduced to the addiction that is the "Status Checker." If I check that thing 10 times a day do I have a problem?

It says on the application decisions by 2/1... We will see. App deadline is 1/15 so they may just do it all at once.bluegreen wrote:have any AJD decisions been released yet? or do they start that later in the month?

I'm not sure if its weirder that there weren't any acceptances this week, or that Johann hasn't tweeted anything this week. I'm wondering if they're having serious meetings to decide if they're going to cut class size to hold medians with the drop in apps (or any other strategy to save medians... moar $ / splitters?).

I did an analysis a few pages back- Johann has tweeted far less this year, so I don't think that's weird, though I would have preferred acceptances this week obviously. I think they were just reviewing Jan applications to get an idea of what the entire cycle looked like this year.mrizza wrote:I'm not sure if its weirder that there weren't any acceptances this week, or that Johann hasn't tweeted anything this week. How long does it usually take to go complete after having an on-campus interview?

Shouldn't take longer than a week for an on-campus interviewNoChainz wrote:How long does it usually take to go complete after having an on-campus interview?

+1 but make it an off-campus instead of an on-campus.NoChainz wrote:How long does it usually take to go complete after having an on-campus interview?
Mine was 1/3/13 and I am not yet complete. I am tempted to call the admissions office, but hesitant since I am afraid the delay might be my fault, since I forgot to report my interview date until last week.

It's harder to say for off-campus interviews because it will depend almost entirely on how quickly your interviewer submits their evaluation, which will depend on how busy they arerisa wrote:+1 but make it an off-campus instead of an on-campus.NoChainz wrote:How long does it usually take to go complete after having an on-campus interview?

Totally off topic here:
Does anyone know how NU weighs undergraduate work experience? I have read everything they have to say about post - graduate work experience, but haven't found anything about full or part time work experience while concurrently being a full time student.

Generally they mean post-grad work (or a proper career before entering UG, like the military or something), but if it was full-time work and self-supporting they'd probably at least consider it. They don't get to count you in their beloved "percentage of entering students with full-time post-grad work experience" number, though.
Part-time job slinging pizza or coffee for drinking money while in UG, while mom and dad or loans paid your tuition? No.

My interviewer submitted my eval the day of my off campus interview and my application was complete by the end of that business day.cusenation wrote:It's harder to say for off-campus interviews because it will depend almost entirely on how quickly your interviewer submits their evaluation, which will depend on how busy they arerisa wrote:+1 but make it an off-campus instead of an on-campus.NoChainz wrote:How long does it usually take to go complete after having an on-campus interview?

So evidently there are literally zero on-campus interview slots left for this cycle as of right now. I honestly couldn't believe this, but I called and the admissions office confirmed it. This is pretty upsetting, but I guess it's my fault for dragging my feet.

I'm a bit confused. As far as you know, have any ED applicants heard back in the affirmative or negative yet?cusenation wrote:manti5 wrote:Forgive me if this is a repeat on this board, but has anybody held ED heard back RD yet?
