I'm down to between Penn and UVA, which is turning out to be a way more difficult decision than I thought it would be.

did u get to visit either? very different cultures, i think. I liked Cville, but loooove Philly. Philly has a bigger market and is close to both NYC and DC. But Wahoos...well, we have more fun.

I went to ASW at both UVA and Penn. Both very different, but they're both amazing in their own way, which is what makes the decision so difficult. I'm a city person, but I'm trying to decide if I want to stay in a city or try living somewhere else for 3 years.

Congrats Brightline! Columbia just really rubbed me the wrong way when I went, so I´m considering withdrawing, but still what a great option.

NYU offered me $0. Columbia offered me something.

I don't know if its enough to choose CLS over Northwestern, but its enough for me to know that NYU is not in the running. And I think that like many people who are on TLS, seeing others in various threads waiting and hoping to get off wait lists means that as soon as I know I am not going to a school I will let them know. My withdrawal could be someone dream school. Whereas if not for TLS my mindset may well be "i waited months for them, they will find out my decision on the deadline"

Did you already get a decision from CLS re money? I still haven't heard anything...

NYU also raised my scholarship... I'm not complaining but I really didn't need to make my decision any more complicated lol

How did you guys appeal their financial aid offer? Just an email asking politely for more $$$? They're offering me 0$ right now, and NYU at sticker is scaring me enough to keep me up at night in a panic.

Email financial aid--there's a formal appeals process where you can submit your reason for an appeal and supporting documents through FAAPS.

Great - thanks!! I'm definitely going to try that and just hope for the best. Hearing from each new TLSer who's made up his/her mind is making me jealous!

That's weird. I just got an alumni email from NYU College of Dentistry. I never attended NYU College of Dentistry. Is the law school giving out our email addresses or was that just me?

I got it too. I'm also an NYU undergrad alum and have, in general, noticed a huge increase in alumni materials being sent out.

By the way, does anyone else have a 2/28 under review date? I seem to be one....
