Having a child versus the lifetime lack of common sense and foresight brought on by testosterone fueled thinking? I pick one day of intense pain and several months of being fat.

The fuck happened in this thread? Some GULC troll, a battle of the sexes, what's next, an abortion debate or atheists vs. christians? Come on people, let's get back to complaining about how slow Cornell is.

After Michigan's impressive packet, Cornell's seemed incredibly lackluster...
Yeah, I know. Other schools leave personalized notes, or at least have an impressive brochure and a copy of their law school magazine. Cornell gives you some form letters and a general Cornell magazine (not specific to the LS, and it has ads in it, lol). Seriously guys, try to sell yourselves a bit.

That is surprising, because even McGeorge (Which is just barely holding onto the bottom of T2 at 98th) sent me about 3 pounds of paper including a hand-written, personalized (bringing in my PS and work exp) note from the asst. dean of admissions and just super nice presentation all around, including that pricy, chic transparent-watermarked paper.

If a school like Cornell sent me a flyer for their acceptance mailer, I'd be pissed. Especially with their price-tag...

I apologize for any part I may have played in the destruction of our noble thread.

This has probably been addressed somewhere in the masses of pages, but does the status checker change when you get a decision? UR 12/7 --> 12/10

is that only your 2nd UR date? if so, I would say a decision is imminent (but not until early next week). it seems like most people who had 2 UR dates got their decision a few days after the second UR

+1. I think this is my 3rd update. 12/1 or 12/2, 12/7, now 12/10.

Either 2nd or 3rd -- Complete 11/30 so might've been UR a few days after. Thanks!

Hmmm interesting. I was 12/2 --> 12/7 but have not updated today. Oh well, it probably doesn't mean anything.

Oh dear. 12/7's are now in two camps. They probably didn't like mine enough to accept me the first time around. Thanks Cornell.

hmm I wish that would be true.. but I think we are just reviewed with everyone else, with a little sticker or some kind of note saying that the application was deferred from ED.

I looked at LSN from last year's cycle, and see a lot of people who submitted prior to the ED deadline (and assuming Cornell had the non-binding ED last year, they probably went ED too) and were eventually accepted around April or so.

Anyone have any insights here?

Well considering I'm still processing from freaking early November (but not EA), I'd say I have you beat. WTF, Cornell, WTF?
