Ok so if everyone on the wait list gets a second review then what could possibly explain the people who received date changes yet still wait listed? Does that mean they were shuffled to bottom of wait list or would you take it as a good sign? Because some people are now getting admitted with without date changes and such. This process is least to say confusing. Haha.

Thanks y'all. I feel, despite having planned on Tech, UH is a better option in the big picture (beyond the price tag), so yes, I should be attending.

I mean, it would suck if their Program on Law and Computation ended up with no students.

I definitely think it can't hurt to have a focus. I was WL and UH was my reach. When I sent my LOCI, I stressed how important their IP program was to me, that this was my focus, etc... Shortly after I was admitted.

I quote law school admissions reps when I say this, that every year is different. You can literally find out the days leading up to start date and it doesn't matter whether you are PT or FT. I hope that helps!

Jpenaonline: I agree with you fully.....and sounds like that is they case here. Because as I have stated before my numbers do not do not do not hit the GPA/LSAT criteria for UH. And I am Asian....so I do NOT get URM consideration too. But I can say this, its all about setting yourself apart. Most schools say that they are not numbers only schools and UH definitely is staying true to that. I have expressed a great desire in my application for the energy policy route. So fingers are crossed.

Thank you so much Jpenaonline!!! I appreciate it! I really want to do energy policy and UH is the best place to be for that. But as the days dwindle down, I feel that I am losing hope on my future at UH, therefore hurting my chances for my future in energy policies. Ahhh well.....wait we all must.
