Has anyone else been under review for a month and a half or more? Not complete, but under review?

Yes, 11/16...
Im sort of extenuating circumstances. I believe I went back under the pile after they forgot to hold my application for my December score. I called after the Dec score was in and they had never held my application as I requested. The lady on the phone said they already rendered the decision, although that was not on my status checker. They are re-reviewing my app, but its taking forever considering the only thing that change was the score 161 to 170.

I have been UR since 12/9. Applied to five schools on 12/5, have not heard from any of them. Think my applicatoins must have fallen into a black hole.

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Just an update for those of us wondering about Jan/March Scholarships...I e-mailed, and here is the answer!
Hello ____, we are currently reviewing for merit scholarships; however, no awards have gone out yet but we hope to do so very soon. If you have a deadline with another school, please let me know. You should also consider applying for need-based financial aid by completing the FAFSA and Need Access form.
Sincerely,

Crap, decision rendered 2/2/11.
If I don't get an email today, does that pretty much mean ding/WL?

Never mind. The little message at the top said I'll be receiving a letter in the mail. Looks like I'm not in.law4vus wrote:Crap, decision rendered 2/2/11.

What has been the typical turn around to hearing back after going UR? Someone spare me having to read back through, please!

I've been UR since 12/9. I think they take their 8-12 guide pretty seriously. I'm at 8 weeks exact today. About to lose my mind. I applied to five schools on 12/2, have heard back from NONE.

I wasn't sure whether to take the 8-12 week thing seriously. Some schools have given timelines like that and I heard back after like a week.

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
I was under review for a little under two months, probably six weeks. They seem to be moving at a pretty consistent rate so I would say to expect a decision within two months at latest after being UR.Moral_Midgetry wrote:What has been the typical turn around to hearing back after going UR? So if it says decision rendered 2/3, I was wondering if someone could tell me when I will receive something and how will I receive it? I have nothing under mailings and there is no "note" at the top of the screen that the other person mentioned about receiving a letter.

Sometimes it takes a little while for something to show up under mailings. You will know tomorrow if you were accepted or not. No email = no acceptance.tinlawman wrote:So if it says decision rendered 2/3, I was wondering if someone could tell me when I will receive something and how will I receive it? Ever since JenDarby was rejected with something under mailings, my theory has flown out the window.
Also, has any held applicant seen changes in their status checkers? There's only been one TLSer with a change so far.
