I received the email, too! It lists the Stafford loan, but not the Grad Plus loan. Do some people have the Grad Plus loan? Also, it doesn't list my scholarship - I dunno why scholarships aren't showing up right now.

And NC, I'm jealous on your $1000 grant! I got one last year when I applied, but not this year

It was quite a surprise for me.

Yeah, it's a yearly thing. I remember asking about it last year and apparently FSU (the school in general, not the law school) has some grant money to give and it's normally dispersed on a first come/first serve basis. So not guaranteed - but still a nice surprise!

I don't see Grad Plus either, but that requires a separate credit-based application. It's not automatic like the Stafford, so I'm assuming that's why it's not on there. I don't see my scholarship either, but at the bottom it said some awards could take 96 hours to post. Maybe they're still processing or something. IDK.

I haven't officially accepted my offer of admission or the scholarship so maybe if you haven't that is why? Or, maybe because this is "financial aid" vs. merit aid, it won't show up til we are registered or something...who knows. I'm not worried about it.

I got an email this morning telling me that my financial aid amounts had changed and I could access it via Blackboard...I was like ummmmm I never received any financial aid info or a Blackboard sign in. Clicked on the link and we can actually set up our Blackboard account and access our financial aid info. The exciting thing is, I have been given a 1000 grant! It just keeps getting better.

So cool! I haven't gotten the email, but I checked Blackboard after reading your post and found that I have recieved a $1000 grant as well! Totally feeling the FSU love now!

Gave up my full scholarship this past week... really tough to do . I hope it goes to one of you deserving people! I am headed to the Peace Corps though so I can't really complain. FSU Law is awesome in my opinion (and I am a UF alum).
